Birds of a Feather

Apple Juice and Tomatoes July 21, 2009

On our honeymoon (about a year ago), we were served fresh pressed apple cider with our breakfast each morning. I decided that this was the best breakfast drink ever (much better than OJ, in particular). I highly recommend the Safeway brand 100% Juice Apple Cider – it’s not too sweet, has lots of flavor, and is only $1.99 a half gallon.

Yesterday, I was having a glass of apple cider, and sitting at my computer. I accidentally spilled the glass all over the laptop. Oops.

C came home and took it apart, and we let everything dry overnight. This morning when he put it back together, everything worked but the keyboard, which is pretty great, considering…  In the meantime (before the replacement keyboard arrives) I’m using a cheap (spill-resistant) keyboard from Frys.

Am very thankful that it was only the keyboard. Back up your computer today!!!

In other news, before the apple juice fiasco I found a lot of ripe tomatoes in our garden yesterday. YAY!!! Tomato season is our favorite! This means we can have all sorts of yummy treats for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
